About Me

Hello, I'm Rosanna and I have been interested in people's stories and ways of being in the world for as long as I can remember. I enjoy collaborating in empowering therapeutic relationships and witnessing the growth and creativity generated from the work together. I have been deeply moved and changed by the stories and kindness of others on my journey so far. I continue to learn how much Hope there is  in sharing/being/creating together.

I trained as a Relational Attachment-informed Psychotherapist at the Bowlby Centre in Islington, London; a training which is psychoanalytic and psychodynamic. I find that understanding our earliest stories helps to make space for something different in the present and possibly radical in the future.

I have lived and worked in the UK, France and Japan. I now work in private practice consulting with clients here in the UK and abroad, reflecting with Bowlby's 'Secure Base' in mind.

I live with my two dogs in South London and I am a keen gardener - I have learned a lot from perennial plants.

I am a registered member of the BACP and I uphold their code of ethics in my work.

What I Offer

I offer a warm, non-judgemental  and confidential space online to work together with what you want to bring. I am committed to ongoing work to make my practice safe enough and empowering for any individual surviving inequality and oppression in a patriarchal, white supremacist, ableist, neuro-normative, hetero-normative, capitalist system. My practice is neurodiversity and HSP affirming/celebrating. I am consistently interested in what might be needed and wanted now to enjoy life more between our sessions. I am mindful of power and privilege which silences/is harmful to those from black and ethnic minority backgrounds and individuals who may have been othered and defined as less-than. I want to be an ally and I welcome your voice.

Individual Therapy

An initial consultation and ongoing individual therapy sessions last for 50 minutes. My standard fee is £120 with consideration for those on lower incomes. You may want to work together for a number of weeks, months or longer. This may involve us working with unprocessed, unresolved trauma which needs tending to kindly and gently. Or you may be looking for more of a mental health MOT: a check-in together on what's happening for you right now and whether this feels like the life you want to be living. I am open to your process and individual needs and will take care to meet you wherever you are.

A Bit About Therapy

We show ourselves a great kindness by making some space for ourselves and seeking the care and companionship of therapeutic others. Gradually we may become conscious of other spaces and sources of care in our lives. Together we will work towards creating a warm, safe and nurturing environment from which you may wish to explore what has been lost, absent or too unsafe to feel. By giving ourselves this space and getting to know parts of ourselves in a safe enough therapeutic relationship we can begin to move through the world more consciously and compassionately.
